Position Summary

The Loan Operations Specialist I performs quality review and verification of new and renewed loans and supporting documentation to insure sound compliance and regulatory practices.  Maintain loan files and documents including the File Room tracking and monitoring.   Handle customer requests for payments and research to resolve payment, payoff and escrow and non-escrow insurance and taxes.    General Loan Operations functions including maintenance, review and processing.

  • Call Center Support-questions and payoffs
  • Quality Review of loans on Fiserv after booking
  • Handles incoming insurance policies
  • Pay taxes and insurance from escrow accounts
  • Pays PMI on monthly basis
  • Force places insurance
  • Tracking and verification of new loan documents
  • Releases collateral on paid loans
  • Filing of loose loan documents
  • Review and send out escrow analysis & send escrow overpayment
  • Checking files in/out from vault for associates
  • Return mail
  • Account transfer and maintenance
  • Create procedures for all job functions
  • Order, review and mail payment notices and coupon books
  • Complete loan tickets for in-house disbursements and balance loan transactions
  • Handles incoming phone calls on loans from customers, banking centers and internal departments
  • Process incoming and outgoing wires
  • Process payments, transfers, loan maintenance at the request of internal associates

Position Qualifications

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Banking or Escrow Operations area minimum of 1 year
  • Prior Customer Service experience preferred

Computer Skills: Basic Computer Skills
