Job Summary:

The Compliance Analyst will function as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues and concerns. While assisting the AVP Compliance Officer with day-to-day activities, you may also help with the strategic planning, organization, implementation, and evaluation of the Bank’s compliance function overall. This role is key in helping to maintain a sound, risk-based compliance program that effectively reviews all areas of the bank.

Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Preform compliance related reviews and testing for consumer lending and deposits. Areas may include loan review, TRID, HMDA, Flood, SCRA, Truth in Savings, Funds Availability, and other federal banking regulations.
  • Assist Compliance Officer in establishing a risk-based compliance monitoring schedule.
  • Monitor and report results of the compliance/ethics efforts of the Bank and provide guidance for the Board and senior management team on matters relating to compliance.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and provide assistance in relation to the implementation of new or revised regulation/s.
  • Maintain and assist with the development of compliance policies as appropriate.
  • Prepare responses for internal compliance monitoring reports for review by senior management.
  • Coordinate with responsible parties on maintaining the internal exam/audit tracking.
  • Monitor, and as necessary, coordinate compliance activities of other departments, remaining cognizant of the status of all compliance related activities.
  • Responsible for completing internal compliance monitoring reviews, ensuring compliance across the organization.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • ‪Bachelor’s Degree preferred in business, finance, or accounting.
  • 5 years of direct compliance, banking, or related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Physical Requirements of Essential Job Functions:

The associate is frequently required to sit and/or stand, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects, tools or controls that are typical or an office/bank environment. Lifting items weighting up to 10 pounds on a consistent basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 80% of the work period while operating equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, etc.

  • Typical office environment
  • Extended viewing of computer screens.
  • Regular office hours are Mon thru Friday from 8am to 5pm. At times, working outside of the stated regular hours may be required.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Typical office working conditions. Indoor and environmentally controlled. The noise level is typical of most office environments.
